WENDY ZOCCOLI
Founder / Executive Committee President
Wendy gave out Free Mum Hugs in Perth to support her cherished gay community. While somewhat of a whim back then, the significance of how a hug can alter the course direction of ones life is what's inspired her to grow this cause. BAH is on a mission to build a National movement worthy of positive change for the LGBTQI+ people.
SHANE
JACOB
VICE PRESIDENT / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER
Shane is a small business owner and runs a successful conveyancing business, he has previously served on a number of not-for-profits boards and is proud to be the Vice President of the Beyond A Hug executive committee. "I joined Beyond A Hug to assist Wendy with her dreams and passions, raise awareness and to integrate our communities so they work together in harmony."
The Late
SECRETARY / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER
"For me, Beyond a hug iS more than just raising awareness for groups and organisations. I personally have made great friendships along the way and also helped others make friends and find social groups that they would like to be apart of or would fit into. It's meaningful and rewarding to realise that Beyond A Hug is making real impact in people's lives and creating a stronger, safer and accepting community here in Perth."
